These carefree succulents are also known as “Desert Rose.” They boast an unusual trunk shape coupled with bunches of beautiful flowers that typically bloom in spring and fall. Growing freely throughout eastern and northeastern Africa and across the Arabian Peninsula, they are adaptable to a wide range of conditions.
Like bright sunlight to develop blossoms. Some species can withstand partial shade
Best kept at room temperatures that average 70-80°F.
Water moderately in warm weather and sparingly in cool weather. Allow the mix to dry (your pot will feel substantially ligher) before watering again so as not to cause root-rot; but don't wait so long that your mix starts to look dust dry.
During growing season, provide a light feeding of a slow-release fertilizer, or a water-soluble liquid fertilizer. As the weather cools, stop feeding so that the plant can wind down for the winter.
